Headteacher: Alan J. Saunders

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Walton Avenue, Penketh, Warrington, WA5 2AU

Our Mission Statement:
Learning, growing, belonging...
happy together in God's family

During the Coronavirus pandemic, St Joseph's remined open to vulnerable children, those of key workers and then to Years R, 1 and 6.  Staff worked hard at school and at home to provide a learning curriculum and pastoral support for all our children.  Likewise, the school maintained its safety standards and made preparations for increased opening to pupils.  Our Risk Assessment for September 2020 can be viewed below on the noticeboard.

Ofsted's Section 8 Inpsection Report Janaury 2020

'St Joseph's Catholic Primary School continues to be a good school.'

'This school is amazing. I see my child growing
and developing in a positive environment.'

The Parliamentary Review online magazine, co-chaired by Lords Blunkett and Pickles, interviewed the Headteacher about our development as a school with such a good reputation.  After some discussion, he was asked to contribute to an article reflecting on our success.  We are glad to provide you with a link to the article, which highlights the work of all in bringing about such great progress in St Joseph’s.  Please share with family and friends, and especially with those looking for a school for their child.

In July, Mr Saunders was interviewed for the Leaders Council of Great Britain.  Listen to the podcast via the link below:
