The School Development Plan
The School Development Plan outlines what we are going to focus on to make St Joseph’s a better place for learning. Our school is already a special place to be but everyone in school works really hard to continue to make improvements. Each year, the staff and Governors decide on what areas need to be focused on during the year and then plans are put in place to bring about those improvements.
This year we are in a unique position as we work our way through the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. School closed for most pupils on 20 March and remained so for the rest of the academic year. An online curriculum was maintained for all pupils and staff dialogued with pupils and parents through Google Classroom.
On our return in September, the situation was assessed and teaching and learning planned accordingly.
